The Porta-King Inplant Office features a gray vinyl hardboard interior and exterior, measuring 10' x 12', designed with a 3-wall configuration that is classified as Class C fire and STC27 sound-rated. This system enables the creation of highly functional spaces within any facility and is made up of pre-engineered components for easy installation, which helps minimize downtime. Every order is accompanied by detailed instructions, suggested floor plan layouts, and an illustrated packing list, including necessary wall panels, connecting posts, roof deck, acoustical ceiling system, a right-hand swing door, and all related hardware. The wall panels stand 8' high, are 3" thick, and are interchangeable with other like-sized panels. The door is a 3070, 20-gauge steel unit equipped with a large vision lite, painted to coordinate with both the interior and exterior surfaces. It is factory-installed within a frame that locks into adjoining posts to prevent sagging, with mechanical fasteners provided for reinforcement above and below the top hinge plate. The wall connecting posts also serve as vertical wiring chases, featuring 8' high snap-in cover plates that conceal the wiring while allowing for quick access. Additionally, each order includes a standard electrical kit with 2' x 4' recessed LED light fixtures (quantities specified), a light switch, and 115-volt electrical outlets, accompanied by a handy box that fastens to the rear of the connecting post for a clean appearance, with all devices bearing the U.L. label. The Class C fire-rated panels consist of a 1/8" vinyl finished hardboard laminated to a solid (UL Class 1) EPS insulating core, resulting in a lightweight yet durable and impact-resistant surface suitable for industrial environments, available in gray and white color options.
