The Porta-King in-plant office is constructed from gray vinyl hardboard for both interior and exterior use, measuring 8' x 8' with a three-wall configuration. This Class C fire-rated and STC27 sound-rated solution provides a highly functional workspace within any facility. The kit comes with pre-engineered components for easy installation, reducing downtime. Included are all necessary wall panels, connecting posts, a roof deck, an acoustical ceiling system, a 3070, 20-gauge steel right-hand swing door with a large vision lite, and hardware to assemble the specified sizes and floor plans. The wall panels are 8' high and 3" thick, and they can be interchanged with similarly sized panels. The door is factory-installed into a frame that locks into adjoining posts to prevent sagging, with mechanical fasteners provided for additional reinforcement above and below the top hinge plate. The wall connecting posts also serve as a vertical wiring chase, equipped with 8' high snap-in cover plates for concealing wiring while allowing easy access during and after setup. The standard electrical kit includes 2'x4' recessed LED light fixtures (quantities specified), a light switch, and 115-volt electrical outlets (quantities specified), with a handy box that attaches to the back of the connecting post and a cover plate for a clean finish. All electrical devices are U.L. labeled. The Class C fire-rated panels consist of a 1/8" vinyl finished hardboard surface laminated to a solid (UL Class 1) EPS insulating core, creating a lightweight, durable, and impact-resistant surface ideal for plant environments, and are available in gray and white color matches.
