The Porta-King in-plant office is a versatile solution featuring a white vinyl hardboard interior and exterior, measuring 8' x 8' with a four-wall configuration. It is designed for efficiency with pre-engineered components that simplify installation and minimize downtime. Each order is accompanied by detailed installation instructions, a suggested floor plan layout, and an illustrated packing list. The kit includes all necessary wall panels, connecting posts, roof deck, acoustical ceiling system, door, and hardware to assemble the specified sizes and layouts. The wall panels are 8' high, 3" thick, and interchangeable with similarly sized panels. The door is a 3070, 20-gauge steel right-hand swing door featuring a large vision lite, painted to match the interior and exterior surfaces. It is factory installed in a frame that locks positively into adjoining posts to prevent sagging, with mechanical fasteners provided for reinforcement above and below the top hinge plate. Additionally, wall connecting posts serve as vertical wiring chases, and 8' high snap-in cover plates are included for each post to conceal wiring, allowing for quick access during and after setup. A standard electrical kit is included, featuring 2' x 4' recessed LED light fixtures, a light switch, and 115-volt electrical outlets, complete with a handy box for easy fastening to the connecting post and a cover plate for a finished appearance. All electrical devices carry the U.L. label. The panels are Class C fire rated, consisting of a 1/8" vinyl finished hardboard surface laminated to a solid (UL Class 1) EPS insulating core, resulting in a lightweight yet durable, impact-resistant surface ideal for manufacturing environments. The office is available in both gray and white color options.
