The Porta-King in-plant office, made of white vinyl hardboard for both interior and exterior use, measures 8' x 8' and features a 3-wall design with Class C fire rating and STC27 sound transmission class. This office solution is composed of pre-engineered components that are easy to install, minimizing downtime. Each order comes with detailed instructions alongside a suggested floor plan layout and an illustrated packing list. Included in the package are all necessary wall panels, connecting posts, a roof deck, an acoustical ceiling system, a door, and the required hardware for construction. The wall panels are 8' high, 3" thick, and interchangeable with panels of the same size. The door is a 3070, right-hand swing, 20-gauge steel door featuring a large vision lite, and is painted to match the wall panel surfaces. It is factory installed into a frame that locks into the adjoining post to prevent sagging, and mechanical fasteners are provided for installation above and below the top hinge plate for added reinforcement. The wall connecting posts serve as vertical wiring chases, with 8' high snap-in cover plates included for each post to conceal wiring while allowing easy access. Additionally, each order includes a standard electrical kit comprising 2' x 4' recessed LED light fixtures, a light switch, and 115 volt electrical outlets, all bearing the U.L. label, with a handy box to create a neat appearance. The Class C fire-rated panels consist of a 1/8" vinyl finished hardboard surface laminated to a solid (UL Class 1) EPS insulating core, resulting in a lightweight yet durable, impact-resistant surface ideal for plant environments, and are available in gray and white color options.
