The Porta-King Inplant Office is constructed from white vinyl hardboard for both interior and exterior surfaces and features a compact design measuring 10' x 10' with four walls. It is rated for Class C fire safety and has a Sound Transmission Class (STC) rating of 27, making it suitable for creating functional spaces within any facility. The kit includes all necessary components for assembly, such as detailed installation instructions, suggested floor plan layouts, wall panels that are 8' high and 3" thick, a 3070 right-hand swing door made from 20-gauge steel with a large vision lite, and hardware for construction. The door is factory installed into a frame that locks into adjoining posts to prevent sagging, with mechanical fasteners provided to reinforce this connection. Additionally, wall connecting posts serve as vertical wiring chases, and snap-in cover plates are included to conceal wiring while allowing easy access. The standard electrical kit features 2'x4' recessed LED light fixtures, a light switch, and 115-volt electrical outlets, with components bearing the U.L. label and designed for a neat installation. The panels consist of a 1/8" vinyl finished hardboard laminated to a solid UL Class 1 EPS insulating core, resulting in a lightweight yet durable and impact-resistant surface, available in gray and white color options.
