The Porta-King in-plant office features a gray vinyl hardboard interior and exterior, measuring 10' x 16', with a three-wall construction designed to meet Class C fire ratings and STC27 sound transmission class. This system creates a highly functional space within your facility, utilizing pre-engineered components for easy installation that minimizes downtime. Each order includes detailed instructions with a suggested floor plan layout and an illustrated packing list. All necessary components are provided, including wall panels that stand 8' high, are 3" thick, and are interchangeable with like-size panels, a 3070, 20-gauge steel right-hand swing door with a large vision lite finished to match the wall surfaces, and hardware for construction. The door is factory-installed into a frame that locks into the adjoining posts to prevent sag, reinforced with mechanical fasteners above and below the top hinge plate. The wall connecting posts also function as vertical wiring chases, with included 8' high snap-in cover plates for concealing wiring while allowing easy access. A standard electrical kit comes with the office, including 2'x4' recessed LED light fixtures and electrical outlets, all installed neatly with a handy box on the back of the connecting post. All electrical devices are U.L. labeled. The Class C fire-rated panels consist of a 1/8" vinyl finished hardboard laminated to a solid (UL Class 1) EPS insulating core, resulting in a lightweight yet durable surface that is impact-resistant and suitable for plant environments. The office is available in gray and white color options.
