The Fluid Level Sight Glasses GN 743.2 are designed with genuine natural glass that offers high stability and scratch resistance. Each unit features a sealing O-ring located on the periphery rather than the face edge of the glass, ensuring that leak tightness is unaffected by axial pressures. The outside diameter is optimized to match mounting holes for tube fittings in accordance with DIN 3865, with the seal securely housed in a groove that prevents loss and extruded seals during tightening. This design accommodates the use of a softer elastomer for improved sealing performance. These sight glasses are suitable for pressurized oil tanks and applications involving subpressure, with a maximum heat resistance of 100° C (212° F). For installations on walls with a thickness of less than 4mm, the use of nut GN 543.1 is recommended.
