The Fluid Level Sight Glasses GN 743 are constructed from genuine glass that offers high stability and is scratch-proof, featuring a sealing mechanism with an O-ring located on the periphery instead of the face edge of the glass, ensuring that leak tightness remains uncompromised by axial pressures. The seal is securely housed in a groove, preventing loss or extrusion when the sight glass is tightened, and utilizes a softer elastomer for improved sealing performance. Specifically designed for use on pressurized oil tanks, these sight glasses come with an NBR seal that has a maximum heat resistance of 100° C (212° F). For installations on walls less than 4 mm in thickness, it is recommended to use nut GN 543.1. Additionally, these sight glasses can be ordered with or without a reflector, making them versatile for different applications.
