The fluid level sight glasses GN 743.2 are constructed from genuine natural glass, boasting high stability and scratch-proof properties. They feature a sealing mechanism with an O-ring located on the periphery of the glass, ensuring that leak tightness remains unaffected by axial pressures. The outside diameter is specifically designed to align with mounting holes for tube fittings according to DIN 3865. The seal is securely housed in a groove, preventing loss and extrusion during tightening, while enabling the use of a softer elastomer for enhanced sealing performance. These sight glasses are suitable for use on pressurized oil tanks and can also accommodate applications with subpressure, with a maximum heat resistance of 100° C (212° F). For mounting on wall thicknesses of less than 4mm, nut GN 543.1 should be used.
