The Fluid Level Sight Glass GN 743 is made of genuine high-stability, scratch-proof glass featuring a sealing O-ring located on the periphery, ensuring that leak tightness remains unaffected by axial pressures. The seal is securely housed in a groove, preventing loss and extrusion during tightening, while also accommodating a softer elastomer for improved sealing efficiency. This sight glass is suitable for use on pressurized oil tanks and includes an NBR seal with a maximum heat resistance of 100°C (212°F). For installations on walls less than 4 mm thick, it is recommended to use nut GN 543.1. Additionally, the sight glasses can be customized to include or exclude a reflector, providing versatility for various application needs.
