The Fluid Level Sight Glasses GN 743.1 are crafted from genuine glass, ensuring high stability and scratch resistance. They feature a sealing O-ring located on the periphery rather than on the face edge of the glass, which maintains leak tightness under axial pressures. The seal is securely housed in a groove, preventing loss and extrusion when the sight glass is tightened. This design allows for the use of a softer elastomer, enhancing sealing efficiency. These sight glasses are suitable for use on pressurized oil tanks and include a Viton seal that withstands temperatures up to 180° C (356° F). For mounting on walls less than 4 mm in thickness, it is recommended to use nut GN 543.1.
