The fluid level sight glasses GN 743.2 are constructed from genuine natural glass that offers high stability and scratch resistance. These sight glasses feature sealing with an O-ring located on the periphery instead of the face edge, ensuring that leak tightness remains unaffected by axial pressures. The outside diameter is designed to correspond with mounting holes for tube fittings according to DIN 3865. The seal is securely housed in a groove to prevent loss, and this design also averts extruding the seal when the sight glass is tightened. Additionally, the placement of the seal enables the use of a softer elastomer, which enhances sealing performance. These sight glasses are suitable for use on pressurized oil tanks and applications with subpressure, with a maximum heat resistance of 100°C (212°F). For mounting on walls thinner than 4mm, it is recommended to use the nut GN 543.1.
