The fluid level sight glasses GN 743 are constructed with genuine glass that offers high stability and scratch resistance. They feature a sealing mechanism with an O-ring located on the periphery rather than on the face edge of the glass, ensuring that leak tightness is maintained even under axial pressures. The O-ring is securely housed in a groove that prevents it from being lost or extruded during installation. This design also accommodates a softer elastomer for improved and easier sealing. These sight glasses are suitable for use on pressurized oil tanks and come with an NBR seal that has a maximum heat resistance of 100°C (212°F). For installations on walls with a thickness of less than 4 mm, it is recommended to use nut GN 543.1. Additionally, the sight glasses can be ordered with or without a reflector based on user preference.
