The fluid level sight glasses GN 743.2 are constructed from genuine natural glass that boasts high stability and scratch resistance. They feature a sealing mechanism with an O-ring located on the periphery, ensuring that leak tightness remains unaffected by axial pressures. The outside diameter is designed to align with mounting holes for tube fittings according to DIN 3865, and the seal is securely housed in a groove to prevent loss and extrude during tightening. This design allows for the use of a softer elastomer, providing enhanced sealing capabilities. These sight glasses are suitable for use on pressurized oil tanks and applications with subpressure, with a maximum heat resistance of 100° C (212° F). For mounting on walls of less than 4mm thickness, it is recommended to use nut GN 543.1.
