The Fluid Level Sight Glass GN 743.2 features genuine natural glass that offers high stability and scratch resistance, with a sealing mechanism employing an O-ring located on the periphery rather than the face edge of the glass, ensuring leak tightness is maintained under axial pressures. The outside diameter is specifically designed to align with mounting holes for tube fittings according to DIN 3865. The seal is securely housed in a groove, preventing loss and minimizing the risk of extrusion during tightening. This design enables the use of a softer elastomer for enhanced sealing performance. The sight glasses are suitable for installation on pressurized oil tanks and for applications involving subpressure, with a maximum heat resistance of 100 °C (212 °F). For mounting on walls with a thickness of less than 4 mm, nut GN 543.1 should be employed.
