The Fluid Level Sight Glasses GN 743 are constructed from genuine glass that offers high stability and scratch resistance, featuring a unique sealing mechanism with an O-ring positioned on the periphery rather than the face edge, which ensures leak tightness is unaffected by axial pressures. The seal is securely housed in a groove to prevent loss and is designed to avoid extruding when the sight glass is tightened; this method also utilizes a softer elastomer for enhanced sealing performance. These sight glasses can be utilized on pressurized oil tanks and come with an NBR seal that withstands maximum heat resistance of 100° C (212° F). For installation on walls thinner than 4 mm, it is recommended to use nut GN 543.1. Additionally, these sight glasses are available in options with or without a reflector.
