The fluid level sight glasses GN 743.5 feature genuine glass with high stability and scratch resistance, ensuring durability and clarity. The design incorporates a sealing O-ring located on the periphery rather than the face edge of the glass, which maintains leak tightness unaffected by axial pressures. The outside diameter is specifically chosen to fit mounting holes for tube fittings in accordance with DIN 3865, and the seal is securely housed in a groove to prevent loss and extrusion during installation. This innovative design allows for the use of a softer elastomer for improved sealing efficiency. These sight glasses are suitable for use on pressurized oil tanks and applications with subpressure, with a maximum heat resistance of 180° C (356° F). For installations on walls with a thickness of less than 4 mm, nut GN 543.1 is recommended.
