The Fluid Level Sight Glasses GN 743 are crafted from genuine glass, known for its high stability and scratch-proof qualities. The design features a sealing O-ring located on the periphery rather than the face edge of the glass, ensuring leak tightness is unaffected by axial pressures. The seal is securely housed in a groove, preventing loss and extrusion during tightening, while this groove allows the use of a softer elastomer for improved sealing. These sight glasses can be utilized on pressurized oil tanks, with the NBR seal capable of withstanding maximum heat resistance of 100°C (212°F). For installation on walls with a thickness of less than 4 mm, the use of nut GN 543.1 is recommended. Additionally, the sight glasses can be ordered with or without a reflector to suit specific needs.
