The fluid level sight glasses GN 743 are made from genuine glass that offers high stability and scratch resistance. They feature a sealing mechanism with an O-ring located on the periphery, which ensures that leak tightness is unaffected by axial pressures. The seal is securely housed in a groove to prevent loss and is designed to avoid extrusion when the sight glass is tightened, facilitating a more reliable sealing with a softer elastomer. These sight glasses are suitable for use on pressurized oil tanks and come with an NBR seal that can withstand temperatures up to 100° C (212° F). For mounting on walls with a thickness of less than 4 mm, it is recommended to use nut GN 543.1. Additionally, the sight glasses can be ordered with or without a reflector.
