GN 744 fluid level sight glasses with prismatic reflector enhance the functionality of oil level sight glasses by providing a clear view of the oil color and viscosity, regardless of the conditions. The unique prism effect is particularly beneficial in situations where over-filling, under-filling, or poor lighting occurs, however, it is not suitable for applications requiring the viewing of alcohol levels. These sight glasses are compatible with pressurized tanks and feature an O-ring housed within the same aluminum body as the GN 743 oil level sight glasses. The sealing mechanism utilizes an O-ring positioned on the periphery, ensuring that axial pressures do not compromise leak tightness. The seal is securely placed in a groove within the housing, preventing loss and extruding during installation. This design allows for the use of softer elastomers, which provide improved sealing capabilities. The maximum heat resistance for these sight glasses is 100°C (212°F). For installation on walls thinner than 4mm (0.157"), the use of mounting nut part series GN 543.1 is recommended.
