The Fluid Level Sight Glasses GN 743 feature genuine glass that is high stability and scratch-proof, ensuring durability and reliability. These sight glasses are designed with a sealing mechanism that utilizes an O-ring located on the periphery rather than on the face edge, which ensures that leak tightness is unaffected by axial pressures. The O-ring is housed in a groove, preventing it from being lost or extruded when the sight glass is tightened. This design allows for the use of a softer elastomer, enhancing sealing efficiency. The sight glasses are suitable for installation on pressurized oil tanks and come with an NBR seal that has a maximum heat resistance of 100° C (212° F). For mounting on walls with a thickness of less than 4 mm, nut GN 543.1 is recommended. Additionally, these sight glasses can be ordered with or without a reflector.
