The outside diameter is designed to align with mounting holes for tube fittings according to DIN 3865, while the seal is securely housed in a groove to prevent loss and extruding during tightening. This strategic placement of the seal allows for the utilization of a softer elastomer, promoting improved sealing performance. The fluid level sight glasses GN 743.5 are compatible with pressurized oil tanks and suitable for applications involving subpressure, with a maximum heat resistance of 180° C (356° F). For walls with a thickness of less than 4mm, the use of nut GN 543.1 is recommended during installation.
