The fluid level sight glasses GN 743.2 are crafted from genuine natural glass, offering high stability and scratch resistance. They feature a sealing mechanism with an O-ring located on the periphery rather than the face edge, ensuring that leak tightness is not compromised by axial pressures. The outside diameter is designed to align with mounting holes for tube fittings in accordance with DIN 3865, and the seal is contained within a groove to prevent loss or extrusion during tightening of the sight glass. This unique groove configuration also allows for the use of a softer elastomer, enhancing sealing effectiveness. These sight glasses are applicable for pressurized oil tanks and can also function in subpressure applications. The maximum heat resistance is 100° C (212° F), and for mounting on walls thinner than 4mm, the use of nut GN 543.1 is recommended.
