The Fluid Level Sight Glasses GN 743.2 are constructed from genuine natural glass, offering high stability and scratch resistance. They feature an O-ring seal located on the periphery, which ensures that leak tightness is not compromised by axial pressures. The outside diameter is designed to conform to mounting holes for tube fittings according to DIN 3865, and the seal is secured in a groove to prevent loss and extrusion when the sight glass is tightened. This design allows for the use of a softer elastomer, ensuring better sealing performance. These sight glasses are suitable for use in pressurized oil tanks and applications with subpressure, with a maximum heat resistance of 100° C (212° F). For installation on walls with a thickness of less than 4mm, it is recommended to use nut GN 543.1.
