The Fluid Level Sight Glasses GN 743.1 feature genuine glass that is high in stability and scratch-proof, designed with a sealing O-ring located on the periphery rather than the face edge of the glass, ensuring that leak tightness is unaffected by axial pressures. The seal is securely housed in a groove to prevent loss and is also safeguarded against extrusion when the sight glass is tightened. This innovative design utilizes a softer elastomer that facilitates improved sealing efficiency. These sight glasses are suitable for use on pressurized oil tanks and incorporate a Viton seal, which offers a maximum heat resistance of 180°C (356°F). For installations on walls with a thickness of less than 4mm, it is recommended to use nut GN 543.1.
