The Fluid Level Sight Glass GN 743 is constructed from genuine glass that offers high stability and is scratch-proof. It features a sealing mechanism with an O-ring located on the periphery, which ensures that leak tightness is not compromised by axial pressures. The O-ring is housed in a groove to prevent loss and avoids extrusion during tightening, while its positioning allows for the use of a softer elastomer that enhances sealing effectiveness. This sight glass is suitable for use on pressurized oil tanks and is equipped with an NBR seal that has a maximum heat resistance of 100° C (212° F). For installations on walls less than 4 mm in thickness, nut GN 543.1 is recommended. Additionally, the sight glasses can be ordered with or without a reflector.
