The fluid level sight glasses GN 743.2 are constructed from genuine natural glass, ensuring high stability and scratch resistance. These sight glasses feature a sealing mechanism with an O-ring located on the periphery rather than on the face edge of the glass, which maintains leak tightness even under axial pressures. The outside diameter is designed to align with mounting holes for tube fittings in accordance with DIN 3865. The seal is housed securely in a groove to prevent loss and to avoid extrusion during tightening, while also permitting the use of a softer elastomer for improved sealing efficacy. Suitable for pressurized oil tanks and applications with subpressure, these sight glasses can withstand a maximum heat resistance of 100° C (212° F). For installation on walls with a thickness of less than 4mm, it is recommended to use nut GN 543.1.
