The fluid level sight glasses GN 743 feature genuine glass that is highly stable and scratch-proof, ensuring durability and clarity. Designed with a sealing O-ring located on the periphery, rather than on the face edge of the glass, these sight glasses maintain leak tightness even when subjected to axial pressures. The seal is securely housed in a groove to prevent loss and is designed to avoid extrusion when the sight glass is tightened. This unique design allows for the use of a softer elastomer, which enhances sealing efficiency. The NBR seal provides a maximum heat resistance of 100° C (212° F). These sight glasses are suitable for installation on pressurized oil tanks, and when mounted on walls thinner than 4 mm, it is recommended to use nut GN 543.1. Customers have the option to order these sight glasses with or without a reflector.
