The Fluid Level Sight Glass GN 743 features genuine glass known for its high stability and scratch-proof attributes, incorporating a sealing method that utilizes an O-ring positioned on the periphery rather than the face edge, ensuring that leak tightness remains unaffected by axial pressures. The seal is securely housed in a groove, preventing loss or extrusion during tightening, while its location enables the use of a softer elastomer for improved sealing efficiency. Designed for use on pressurized oil tanks, the NBR seal exhibits a maximum heat resistance of 100°C (212°F). For mounting on walls with a thickness of less than 4 mm, nut GN 543.1 is recommended. The sight glasses are available with or without a reflector, enhancing their versatility in various applications.
