The GN 537 fluid level sight glasses are designed for easy installation without the need for threading, as they are simply inserted into the bore D2 with a tolerance of H11. The installation process involves tightening the ring nut using the pin key, which compresses the seal against the contact surface, securely holding the sight glass in place. For removal, the procedure is reversed. These sight glasses are intended for use in non-pressurized or slightly pressurized tanks, with a maximum heat resistance of 80° C (175° F).
