The Genuine ESG glass features high stability and scratch resistance, designed with a sealing O-ring located on the periphery rather than the face edge, ensuring that leak tightness is unaffected by axial pressures. The outside diameter is tailored to fit mounting holes for tube fittings in accordance with DIN 3865. The seal is securely housed in a groove, preventing loss and extrusion when the sight glass is tightened, while also enabling the use of a softer elastomer for improved sealing performance. This fluid level sight glass, model GN 743.3, is suitable for use in pressurized oil tanks and applications with subpressure, with a maximum heat resistance of 180°C (356°F). For walls thinner than 4mm, it is recommended to use nut GN 543.1 during mounting.
