OHAUS® rocking and waving shakers are designed for various lab applications, providing controlled seesaw-like motion or smooth, low-foaming, 3D wave motion. The kit includes a non-slip mat and features options for a stacking tray to double capacity in most models. Key applications include mixing blood samples, DNA extractions, blotting techniques, staining and destaining gels, and hybridizations. The digital models feature easy-to-read independent LED displays for speed, tilt angle, and time, allowing simultaneous viewing of all settings, while analog models come with basic control knobs with dial markings for the same parameters. Each shaker operates with a detachable 3-wire cord and plug. The construction consists of cast aluminum housing and a non-slip rubber mat, with a spill-resistant design and overload protection that includes an audio/visual alarm for digital models and an audible alarm for analog ones.
