OHAUS® heavy duty shakers are engineered for a variety of demanding applications, offering consistent orbital shaking action that ensures reliable results. The kit includes eight models with load capacities ranging from 16 to 68 kg, accommodating various laboratory needs. Key features include applications suitable for cell cultures, solubility studies, extractions, bacteria and yeast cultures, staining and destaining processes, immunoassays, protein studies, and blotting techniques. Each shaker features independent LED displays for speed and time, allowing simultaneous viewing and adjustment, with analog models equipped with control knobs featuring dial markings. The operation is supported by a detachable 3-wire cord and plug, while digital models offer an RS232 interface for two-way communication, enabling data logging and unit control. Constructed from cold rolled steel (CRS), the shakers also come with a built-in tray measuring 11 x 13 inches (28 x 33 cm) and include a non-slip rubber mat for stability during operation.
