The Endeavor™ light duty shaker features a 20 mm orbit and stable, accurate, long-term shaking ensured by a triple eccentric drive and a maintenance-free brushless DC motor. It includes integrated overload and unbalanced detection to protect samples. The unit is suited for applications in microbiology, molecular biology, ELISA assays, cell cultures, immunoassays, protein studies, bacterial and yeast cultures, staining/destaining, blotting techniques, DNA studies, solubility studies, environmental and food sciences, chemistry, and general mixing. It is equipped with a bright, backlit LCD display showing speed and time, where the timer can count up elapsed time or count down and shut off shaking upon reaching zero, accompanied by a green indicator light that illuminates during shaking. Operation is controlled by a simple knob for timer and shaking adjustments, and the tray includes attachment points for flask clamps and tube racks with a non-slip rubber mat included. Optional accessories comprise a universal platform and over 20 flask clamps and tube racks; one model is dedicated for microplates. Communication is enabled by an RS232 interface providing two-way data logging and unit control. The shaker is constructed with durable chemical-resistant polymer housing and a sturdy, easy-to-clean aluminum standard tray with accessory attachment points. It has IP21 ingress protection and features a control panel with knobs and an on/off switch. Design highlights include visual and audio alarms for timer completion or error detection, a small footprint to save bench space, advanced microprocessor control for gradual speed ramp-up to avoid splashing, and an easily attachable optional accessory platform.
