The Endeavor™ light duty shaker orbital features a 3 mm orbit and accommodates 4 microplates or 2 micro-tube racks, providing stable, accurate, long-term shaking ensured by the triple eccentric drive and a maintenance-free brushless DC motor. It includes integrated overload and unbalanced detection to protect samples. Applications encompass microbiology, molecular biology, ELISA assays, cell cultures, immunoassays, protein studies, bacterial and yeast cultures, staining/destaining, blotting techniques, DNA studies, solubility studies, environmental and food sciences, chemistry, and general mixing. The device is equipped with a bright, backlit LCD display showing speed and time, with a timer that can count up elapsed time or count down to shut off shaking at zero, accompanied by a green indicator light that illuminates during operation and an easy-to-navigate menu for advanced features. Operation is simplified with a knob control for timer and shaking, a tray with attachment points for flask clamps, tube racks, and a non-slip rubber mat, with optional accessories including a universal platform and over 20 flask clamps and tube racks; one model is dedicated for microplates. Communication capabilities include an RS232 interface for 2-way communication supporting data logging and unit control. The construction consists of a durable chemical-resistant polymer housing and a sturdy, easy-to-clean aluminum standard tray with accessory attachment points, rated IP21 for ingress protection, complemented by control knobs and an on/off switch. Design features include visual and audio alarms for timer countdown completion or error detection, a small footprint to save bench space, advanced microprocessor control for gradual speed ramp-up to prevent splashing, and an easy-to-attach optional accessory platform.
