The Ohaus heavy duty orbital shaker with a 19 mm orbit is designed to handle a wide range of applications including cell cultures, solubility studies, extractions, bacteria and yeast cultures and suspensions, staining and destaining, immunoassays, protein studies, and blotting techniques. It features powerful, consistent orbital shaking action with a 16 kg capacity and independent LED displays for speed and time that allow the operator to view both settings simultaneously, controlled by knobs with dial markings. The unit includes a detachable 3-wire cord and plug, and digital models offer an RS232 interface for two-way communication enabling data logging and unit control. Constructed from cold rolled steel (CRS), the shaker is equipped with a built-in tray measuring 11 x 13 inches (28 x 33 cm) that includes a non-slip rubber mat. The product comes with a warranty as specified by the manufacturer.
