The Endeavor™ light duty shaker features a 3 mm orbit and ensures stable, accurate, long-term shaking through a triple eccentric drive and a maintenance-free brushless DC motor. Integrated overload and unbalanced detection protect samples during operation. It is suitable for applications including microbiology, molecular biology, ELISA assays, cell cultures, immunoassays, protein studies, bacterial and yeast cultures, staining and destaining, blotting techniques, DNA studies, solubility studies, environmental and food sciences, chemistry, and general mixing. The shaker is equipped with a bright, backlit LCD display showing speed and time, where the timer can either count up elapsed time or count down and shut off shaking upon reaching zero; a green indicator light signals when the unit is shaking. Operation is managed by a simple knob control for timer and shaking speed. The standard package includes a tray with attachment points for flask clamps, tube racks, and a non-slip rubber mat, with optional accessories such as a universal platform and over 20 different flask clamps and tube racks, alongside one model dedicated specifically for microplates. Communication is facilitated via an RS232 interface that provides two-way communication for data logging and unit control. The shaker’s construction consists of a durable, chemical-resistant polymer housing and a sturdy, easy-to-clean aluminum standard tray with attachment points for accessories. It meets IP21 ingress protection standards and utilizes a robust triple eccentric drive and brushless DC motor controlled by knobs and an on/off switch.
