Product Details
The Fibrox handle cimeter butcher knife features a stamped design, which is created by cutting a shape from a cold rolled piece of steel that is then ground, tempered, and sharpened, resulting in a lighter and narrower blade. Stamped knives are notable for their ease of production and performance, often approaching the quality of forged blades while lacking in weight and feel, and are identifiable by the absence of a bolster. Constructed from high-quality X50Cr Mo steel, the knife boasts a Rockwell hardness of 55-56 HRC, ensuring high edge retention. Each blade is conically ground along its entire length and additionally ground crosswise, which contributes to a wider break point that reduces the risk of blade fracturing and offers less resistance for efficient cutting. These expert manufacturing processes provide the optimal conditions for a lifetime of sharpness and performance.
