Penco's heavy-duty pallet racks are engineered for efficient storage of palletized items, built from high strength steel to achieve a superior strength-to-weight ratio, suitable for various storage applications. The basic components include upright frames and beams manufactured to exacting tolerances, ensuring dependable service at rated loads. The slotted design allows for easy installation and adjustment on 3" centers, while safety lock tabs prevent beam dislodging. Standard beam ends consist of extra heavy gauge steel with a three-prong connection that assures positive beam-to-post alignment along the 8-1/2" length of the connector and uniform load distribution. Additionally, tabs along the beam face offer extra protection during transit and installation. A unique recessed safety key engages a slot in the post and resists an upward force from material handling equipment up to 1,000 pounds. The step down design of all beams accommodates accessories, with two step sizes available at 7/8" and 1-5/8" high. The heavy-duty beam end connectors feature a three-prong design for enhanced stability.
