Penco's heavy-duty pallet racks are engineered for efficient storage of palletized items, built with high-strength steel to achieve a superior strength-to-weight ratio. The system comprises upright frames and beams, manufactured to precise tolerances to ensure long-lasting performance at their rated loads. Featuring an easy-to-install slotted design adjustable on 3" centers, these racks include a safety lock tab that prevents beams from dislodging. Standard beam ends are constructed from extra heavy gauge steel with a three-prong connection design that guarantees accurate beam-to-post alignment and uniform load distribution. The tabs along the beam face offer protection to the prongs during transportation and installation. Each beam incorporates a recessed safety key made from heavy gauge steel that engages a slot in the post and is capable of withstanding an upward force from material handling equipment up to 1,000 pounds. Additionally, the step-down design allows for accessory acceptance with two available step sizes: 7/8" and 1-5/8" high. The beam locking key enhances safety by securing beams in place without the need for tools, ensuring visibility for safety checks.
