Penco's heavy-duty pallet racks are engineered for efficient storage of palletized items, constructed from high-strength steel to achieve a superior strength-to-weight ratio. The kit includes upright frames and beams manufactured to exacting tolerances for dependable service at their rated loads. The slotted design facilitates installation and adjustment on 3-inch centers, while a safety lock tab ensures the beam remains securely in place. Each beam end is crafted from extra heavy gauge steel and features a three-prong connection for positive alignment and uniform load distribution. Designed with a step down feature, the beams accommodate accessories with two step sizes available: 7/8 inch and 1-5/8 inch high. The unique recessed safety key, also made from heavy gauge steel, engages a slot in the post and resists an upward force from material handling equipment up to 1,000 pounds. This key is part of the beam assembly, easy to engage without tools, and clearly visible for safety checks.
