Penco's heavy-duty pallet racks are meticulously crafted to deliver efficient storage solutions for palletized items, utilizing high-strength steel to achieve an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. Each rack comprises upright frames and beams, manufactured to precise tolerances for long-lasting reliability at their rated loads. The slotted design allows for easy installation and adjustment on 3" centers, complemented by a safety lock tab that prevents beam dislodgment. Standard beam ends feature extra heavy gauge steel with a three-prong connection that ensures positive beam-to-post alignment over an 8-1/2" length, promoting uniform load distribution. Tabs on the beam's face enhance protection during transit and installation. Each beam is equipped with a unique recessed safety key that engages a slot in the post, effectively resisting upward forces from material handling equipment up to 1,000 pounds. This key is integral to the beam assembly, easy to engage without tools, and designed for visibility during safety checks. The step-down design of all beams accommodates accessories, available in two step sizes: 7/8" and 1-5/8" high.
