CaloriTech™ SS series radiant strip heaters and component heaters are designed with offset terminals at one end, making them a versatile and economical heating source suitable for various applications, including surface heating, process air heating, and winterizing. The heaters have two offset bolt-type terminals for secure electrical connections and can be easily controlled using a heating control panel or mechanical thermostats. They feature mounting holes for secure wall installation and offer a special order option for lead wires to extend from one end, enhancing installation flexibility. The entire heater assembly is encased in an aluminized steel sheath, providing corrosion resistance and aesthetic appeal, and is suitable for applications where the maximum sheath temperature does not exceed 1000°F (538°C). For applications requiring higher temperature tolerance, stainless steel heaters are recommended. Compliance with applicable safety standards, along with the heater's dimensions and specifications, ensures reliable performance across various industrial heating needs.
