Caloritech™ SS series radiant strip heaters and component heaters feature offset terminals at one end, making them a versatile and economical heating source for a wide range of applications, including surface heating for platens, dies, molds, tanks, and piping; process air heating in drying cabinets, ovens, and vacuum dehydrating ovens; as dropping resistors for railroads and load banks; and for winterizing hoppers, conveyors, ducts, and car heating. These heaters come with two offset bolt-type terminals for easy electrical connections and can be controlled using a heating control panel, mechanical thermostat, or bi-metal thermostats. The design includes mounting holes to secure the heaters to wall housings. Special order lead wires can be provided to allow for flexible installation configurations. The heaters are encased in a stainless steel sheath, offering both corrosion resistance and aesthetic appeal, suitable for applications with a maximum sheath temperature of 1000°F (538°C), and are designed to be installed with consideration for the operating temperature.
