Caloritech™ FS Series finned strip heaters are low-watt density heating devices designed for a variety of applications such as surface heating (platens, dies, molds, tanks, piping), process air heating (drying cabinets, ovens, vacuum dehydrating ovens), and winterizing (hoppers, conveyors, ducts). These heaters feature two offset bolt-type terminals at one end for simple electrical connections and are compatible with heating control panels, mechanical thermostats, or cost-effective bi-metal thermostats for effective temperature regulation. The models are equipped with mounting holes for secure wall installation and can be customized with lead wires through special order to enhance installation flexibility. The heater’s aluminum steel sheath encases the entire assembly and provides corrosion resistance while maintaining a visually appealing finish, suitable for operating temperatures up to 1000°F (538°C). Each heater contains fins made of 0.022" (0.56 mm) thick cadmium-plated steel, featuring a nominal configuration of four fins per inch, contributing to its efficient heat transfer capabilities.
