Caloritech™ FS series finned strip heaters are high-watt density heating solutions designed for various applications, including surface heating, process air heating, dropping resistors for line applications, winterizing, and original equipment. The kit includes two offset bolt-type terminals at one end, with mounting holes for secure installation on walls, and an extensible terminal for easy electrical connections. The heaters can be controlled using a heating control panel, mechanical thermostat, or bi-metal thermostats, which can be attached directly to the surface. Special orders can include lead wires extending from one end for increased installation flexibility, taking into account the operation temperature required for suitable wire insulation ratings. Each heater is encased in a durable aluminized steel sheath, providing corrosion resistance and an appealing appearance, suitable for use at maximum sheath temperatures of up to 1000°F (538°C). The fins of the heaters are made of cadmium-plated steel, each with a thickness of 0.022" (0.56 mm) and a nominal configuration of four fins per inch. The dimensions and specifications vary based on the specific model selected, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of heating needs across different sectors.
