Caloritech™ SS series radiant strip heaters and component heaters are designed for a variety of applications, including surface heating, process air heating, dropping resistors, winterizing, and original equipment in air conditioning and laboratory equipment. Each unit features two offset bolt-type terminals at one end, allowing for flexible electrical connections and secure mounting. The heaters can be efficiently controlled using a heating control panel, mechanical thermostat, or bi-metal thermostats, which can be installed on the heater's surface. Custom lead wires can be requested to enhance installation flexibility, provided the appropriate wire temperature rating is selected based on the application's operating temperature. The entire heater assembly is encased in a stainless steel sheath, offering corrosion resistance and suitability for maximum sheath temperatures up to 1000°F (538°C). Installation is straightforward, with pre-drilled mounting holes facilitating secure attachment to wall housings.
