Caloritech™ FS Series finned strip heaters, designed for low-watt density, serve as a versatile and economical heating source across various applications, including surface heating for platens, dies, molds, tanks, and piping, as well as process air heating in drying cabinets, ovens, and moisture protection for motors. They also function effectively as dropping resistors in railroads and load banks, and for winterizing hoppers, conveyors, and other equipment. These heaters feature two offset bolt-type terminals at one end and can be easily controlled using a heating control panel, mechanical thermostat, or bi-metal thermostats that can be mounted on the heater’s surface. Additionally, the heaters come with mounting holes for secure installation on wall housings, and options for special order lead wires for flexible installation are available. The aluminum steel sheath encases the entire heater assembly, offering corrosion resistance and an appealing appearance. Suitable for applications with a maximum sheath temperature not exceeding 1000°F (538°C), the fins are constructed from 0.022" (0.56 mm) thick cadmium-plated steel, with a nominal configuration of four fins per inch. Each heater is backed by a warranty, ensuring quality and durability for industrial heating applications.
