The Defender™ 5000 series floor scales are designed for industrial and commercial weighing applications, offering high-quality construction to minimize flexing under heavy loads for reliable long-term performance. The kit includes a 304 stainless steel IP68 indicator with a backlit liquid crystal display (LCD) of 256 x 80 pixels, a stainless steel platform with a 5 mm (0.196 in.) fixed top plate, IP68 stainless steel junction box with side access, and IP68 load cells suitable for wet areas. The indicator features software modes for counting, checkweighing, accumulation, percent weighing, dynamic weighing (display hold), and filling, with an internal power supply and power cord included; a rechargeable battery is available separately. Communication options include built-in RS232 and Micro SD slot, with additional interfaces like a second RS232/RS485/USB device, Ethernet, WiFi/Bluetooth, discrete I/O and analog output available separately. GLP/GMP data output with real-time clock is supported. The scale’s design incorporates four load cell mounted feet with a self-swiveling ball-in-cup design, and accessories such as stainless steel ramps and painted or stainless steel floor stands are available.
