The Defender™ 3000 floor platforms are designed for dry weighing applications in industrial and commercial environments, featuring high-quality construction that minimizes flexing under heavy loads for reliable, long-term performance. The package includes a 7-segment LCD indicator with a multicolor backlight that changes color in check mode, supporting weighing, checkweighing, counting, and totalization functions. The operation is powered by an internal power supply with an included power cord, while 6C (LR14) batteries or a rechargeable battery are available but not included. Communication options include standard RS232, with optional USB device or Ethernet interfaces. The construction consists of an ABS plastic or 304 stainless steel indicator, a 5 mm (0.196 in) fixed top plate, black painted steel threaded platform, an IP65 stainless steel junction box with side access, alloy steel load cells, two carbon steel eye bolts, and a painted steel ramp available. Design features include four load cell mounted feet with a self-swiveling ball-in-cup design, and optional painted and stainless steel floor stands.
